Alexandra Lund is a multi-cultural polyglot who strives to improve the lives of vulnerable children impacted by conflict.
She is currently advising families and HNWIs on their succession planning and Next Gen challenges and provides her expertise to the conference production world. Before joining the #1MillionChildren Initiative as its Managing Director, she worked as the Senior Executive
Producer at marcus evans summits, where she was responsible for the intellectual content of high-end B2B summits across a variety of professional and industry sectors globally. There Alexandra focused extensively on in-depth market research and developing relationships while mastering the production of cutting-edge programmes and recruiting renowned influential thought leaders.
From packaging R&D VPs using novel tech materials to improve global sustainability, to Family Offices wanting to get involved in philanthropy — Alexandra was a close and personal ally to those fighting the good fight for better business strategy. Speaking 11 languages, out of which seven fluently, she has developed a profound understanding for different cultures, the importance of soft skills and emotional intelligence and is always striving for opportunities to speak with natives. Previously, Alexandra worked in the corporate services field as a Marketing & Business Development Manager. She also has extensive experience in the film and media industry, having worked for several years at the Berlinale International Film Festival.
Alexandra has a Bachelor of Arts from King’s College London, majoring in Modern Foreign Languages with Education and Film, a Diploma from the University of Barcelona and a Cambridge University CELTA Qualification.
